Castrol Limited - Print collateral

Print projects for Castrol Oil include in-store displays, oversize wall wraps, z-folds, brochures, print on demand, magazine spreads.

My process entailed assessing creative briefs, collecting copy, stock images, and supporting assets. Performing typography, image retouching, concepting, and creating layouts, typically with optional versions. QA at project completion and finalizing deliverables.

Shown here are two print projects: POD Safety bulletins and promotional cards.

Castrol Limited - Web banners

Banner ad projects typically involve designing and laying out many versions of standard size banner ads.

These were built exclusively in Photoshop. Attention to detail ensured consistency of the look and feel across all banner ad sizes, while adhering to Castrol's branding guidelines.

Shown here are two sets of banners.

Image retouching and compositing

Shown here are two full-page hires composite images for use in print and digital projects.

These compositions were created with various high-resolution images, marked up loose layouts indicating required changes and directions such as getting accurate brand colors onto the labels, color and tonal enhancements, extensive retouching, and cleanup of the packaging, creating accurate shadows.

Emails and digital assets

Shown here is one email built to two sizes, one for desktops and one for mobile devices.

Email campaigns ranged in size from single emails to many email versions for global geographic targeting. Campaign projects included: animated video and static social posts for Instagram and Facebook. Animated LCD screen displays.

The process for these projects entailed creating tight layouts from supplied rough layouts. Deliverables for projects are pixel-perfect modules of any email section containing images, art, logos, etc. Retina resolutions are considered. Each module is a PNG file created from master layered and editable Photoshop files, which are then packaged for developers.
