My approach to integrating AI into my design and development process centers on self-hosted, local environments. Rather than relying on cloud-based subscription services, I run image, video, and coding models directly on my own hardware. Getting hands-on with local ecosystems gives me a foundational understanding of how these generative tools actually work. I am learning the architecture and terminologies beneath the surface. This technical independence allows me to deeply integrate AI into my workflow, providing me with an unrestricted sandbox to build, learn, and design without limits.

To stay at the forefront of modern production trends and maximize efficiency, my primary toolset utilizes robust, subscription-free software alternatives. In addition to Adobe Creative Cloud my current tool set environment includes Affinity (for layout, imaging and vector work), DaVinci Resolve (for motion and video), Apple iWork and OnlyOffice for administrative tasks. This intentional shift ensures my workflow remains resilient and future-proof, allowing me to focus resources directly on creative problem-solving and exceptional output.

This portfolio website was entirely conceptualized and coded by me from the ground up, utilizing VS Code as my primary development environment. While I consider myself a practitioner rather than a dedicated software engineer, I have a strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and programming principles. I regularly leverage AI tools to assist my workflow, carefully reviewing, refining, and adjusting the code to meet my exact design specifications. Having spent years collaborating closely with professional developers and programmers, I also deeply understand their technical needs, ensuring that my design files and handoffs are clean, structured, and developer-friendly.
